About the author
Lynne Faires is a holistic nutrition coach and educator in ecological living.
Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, she began her career working with clients in nutrition and teaching at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
A turning point came when symptoms of autoimmune disease and chronic fatigue required her to slow down and rethink her relationship with health, nature, and the rhythms of everyday life.
This experience deepened her interest in herbalism, nourishing food, and regenerative approaches to growing and preparing what we eat.
Today, Lynne shares her work through teaching, writing, and cultivating spaces where people can reconnect with the natural world. She holds an Advanced Permaculture Certification and has trained with internationally recognised educators in nutrition, herbalism, and ecological design.
Through this herbarium, she hopes to invite readers to rediscover and reconnect with an older kind of wisdom rooted in observation, nourishment, and care for the living world.
You can follow her work online at Jardin Feuilles de Vie.
